Beskrivelse

We live in a global world, with a global marketplace. The market differences between countries and continents
have led to a big difference in production costs and, due to global market dynamics, we’ve all come to
expect low prices and good value. That's why we have created our Gloxy series. To achieve great value without
compromise.I decided by working hard on production facilities and carefully selecting raw materials we can
produce unique instruments valued both by professionals and upcoming young players to create their future as
artists, to make their dreams come true without settling for mediocre instruments which lack identity.
This new approach allows us to make the most of all the advantages of living in taly, with our “Italian Style”,
allowing our “Glocalisation” to win over globalisation. By “Glocalisation” I mean that we are able to make the
most of our “Local” world, with the unique Italian lifestyle that’s envied throughout the world.
By using all this creativity, perfectly harmonised with the great relationship network that we have built worldwide,
it allows me to develop and design unique instruments with unbeatable value for money. Mine is not just a product,
it's a carefully created project, a different way to conceive production and to do business, a new philosophy that
lets us synergistically merge all the advantages of our changing world. And the result? Products with a consistent
and extremely important added value: Our Markbass Value! x Superior products, at a competitive price which reflects
my respect for all my dealers, my passionate commitment to music and, most of all, to musicians and their instruments!

GV SERIES
GV SERIES is our range of bass guitars that demonstrate our ability to produce a high quality instrument at an
incredible price. This achievement is a direct result of our tireless work to compare the quality and
price of parts and materials from a wide range of suppliers. We chose only the best components for our Gloxy
series, maintaining our focus on excellent value for money.

PLAYABILITY / COMFORT / QUALITY ASSURANCE
The bass neck has the same characteristics as our JP series of instruments - inherent playability, and comfort.
The balance of each string is accurate and defined, without any 'boomy' resonant frequencies even across the
fifth string's range. Each instrument is inspected for quality
against our strict requirements at our headquarters in Italy. Gloxy series bass guitars receive the same
standard of care and attention as our higher end instruments.

MB INSTRUMENT PRE INSIDE
The Gloxy series is equipped with the same MB Instrument Pre that is featured on our premium range of instruments.
This onboard preamp is designed from the ground up by Markbass to faithfully reproduce the sound
of your instrument. Changes in the volume level when switching from Active to Passive and back again are almost
imperceptible - a unique feature of the exceptional circuitry inside. Simple & ergonomic controls allow you to
richly boost or cut your EQ without clipping or distorting the signal - even
at the maximum settings - allowing the MB Instrument Pre
to work with you in any environment.

MB BASS BAG UNIVERSAL GIG BAG INCLUDED
n addition to the great value already offered by our Gloxy basses, all instruments in this series come with the
fantastic MB BASS BAG UNIVERSAL to keep your new purchase safe. Like all Markbass
products, this case is made to our precise quality standards, without compromise and
also in this case we want to offer you so much more, without compromises.

Play longer, sound better

Cleartone Electric Strings may have a coating of only one micron, but it's more
durable than coatings thousands of times its thickness. It won't flake off with
hard playing, nor will it feel slick or slippery to your touch. Super-high tension
winding over a hex-core is used to maintain tuning consistency throughout
your performance. EMP Treatment is then applied to all the strings (including
plain strings) to ensure longest tonal life without compromises.

Swing Bass 66 Long Scale - Extra Light 30-85

This is the stainless steel roundwound string that James How and John Entwistle perfected into
what was to become the industry standard. The bright, punchy, high-energy sound of Swing Bass 66
strings is a major part of early rock music history and brought the bass player from the back line
to the front of the stage.

A string for everyone
With so many musicians experimenting with unique gauges and drop tunings it is hardly surprising to
know that Swing Bass Custom Box Singles, first introduced in the ’60s, enjoy more popularity now than
ever before.
With such a wide range starting from 0.025" to 0.140" in increments of 0.005" there will be a gauge
to suit everyone’s custom set.
